John Tone Jr. , 75

Passed 4/26/20 Randolph, New Jersey

"John Tone Jr. was my dad. A loving man who left behind a wife, two children and their spouses, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Family was everything to him. He was a Marine for four years during the Vietnam War. In the early years of his marriage he worked two jobs while attending night school for his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Working his way up the ladder within the company he worked for, he finally retired as Vice President of Operations in 2010.

He never took retirement literally, working at a local golf course and enjoying many games with friends of 50 plus years. He loved to care for his lawn, attend his grandchildren’s plays and events, gather family for a barbecue among other things. He was a funny man who enjoyed life and will be sadly missed. Loved spending time with family and golfing. He was the voice of reason and the glue of our family and friends. He was a hard worker and always put family first."
